AGRICULTURE IN TARAŞÇI

In Taraşcı ,agriculture  is widely made by planting grain such as borley ,wheat, etc;growing beet ,growing fruit and commercial growing of hothouse vegetables and fruits.The most populer crops ,of grain agriculture are borley and wheat and chickpea ,fink and especially corn growing have lately became favourite of sawers .Nowadays,irrigation ın grain agriculture has started to be done where it is possible.Watering by dripping methool couldn’t still became widespread on the areas with the exception of greenhouses.Livelyhood of 20-30 pecent of people in taraşçı is supplied by planting.Grain agriculture is generally seen in the area called igdiş yazısı and also in taşmıyor and bayaırardı’ around  the town.

      Grawing  fruit is seen on ‘kelezler ‘ ‘bayırardı’ and ‘taşmıyor ‘commercial growing of hothouse vegetables is seen in side and aromd  the town and in Araltı.

      Cattle and sheep breeding can be seen in side the town.Planting borley and wheat is widespread in the areas .In recent years,comporing with previous years ,growing chickpea is excessively on the ebb.It is decreased on the rage of 90 pecent of its past potential.between 1987 and 1990 consruction of dam,watering have been possible and modern methods have taken classic methool’s place in agriculture Owing to the dam,in ‘igdiş yazısı ‘ growing beet have been widespread and now it is the most important source of living in this area .So arable fields of beet are very expensive .Especially in between 1990 and 2001 .It was made a very range of profit by growing beet.Nowadays ,the construction of the second dam in Taraşçı, which wiil be used for watering the arable fields in side and around the town have been in pragress.80 percent of the construction  have been completed till now.Because of levelness of its place,the cost of the construction has increased and so it couldn’t be finished yet.

        Grawing  fruit in Taraşçı  is a re-devoleping agricultural field recently .It was popular between 1970 and 1990 ,but because of migration of pegole for a new job,the effect of Etibank and increasing beet growing as a result of passibility on watering and problews in marketing ,it has totally  lost its popularity after 1990 however ,for a few years ,a return to different fields of agriculture has storted especially on growing fruitu and commercial growing of hothouse vegetables or  fruits .
