OUR MOUNTAINS

    On the south of Taraşcı town , there is küpe mountains and akdağ mountain lies on the west of the town.The altitudes of küpe and mountains are about 2550 meter.  And the plateau of küpe has approximately 1900 meter height. There are prussias in Akdağ  and on the tops , there are a century old junipers. Fountains exist in the forest and on the peaks of Akdağ. The greatest pine of Akdağ is around the fountain of üçpınarlar side which is upperside of Akdağ's Yenice village.  It is the most efficatious place  for camping . To see a wide range of area and Seydişehir from this place is possible for us. At nights, seaside climate is dominant. A short time after the sunset  the weather gets hard and the lights coming also  from Seydişehir and Beyşehir makes the view magnificient. The most suitable route for a tour o Akdağ is Karakoru - Bayırardı- Karatepe -uzuntarla and after the way through Stalin, you arrive to the rockies of Akdağ. It is worth seeing in the tour Deliktaş cave and the cave in the peak of mountain. Ad ıf you are lucky can see ibexes in the very early mornings and toward mid afternoon.

    The beauty of Küpe mountain comes from its natural plateau. Your route is throughout the village from Kapaklı - Elmalı - Cumkurt and finally you can reach to peak of küpe mountain . It is advised to stay a night in Cumkurt when you are climbing Küpe, In spring times , a small lake comes from existance and when the weather becomes warmer the lake disappears. Yous can use another  way to the peak of Küpe from New Baraj - Gemi taşı -Karamıklı and then the  sideway. And arund backsides of küpe , there are tents of Manavgat nomaddics. You can also come accross ibexes in Küpe mountain. But unfortunately these precious animals are hunted by uncanscious people.
